The Alpinist is a sturdy steel crampon with anti-balling plates for demanding winter mountaineers facing the challenges of ridges, gullys and high mountains. The weave of the binding is made of soft material that perfectly adapts to the shoe. Universal crampons with plastic weave at the back and front to fasten all shoe types, especially those without sole edges. Ideal for winter walking and mountaineering in Ireland & Scotland and beyond.

These crampons are classed as C1, this means the fit the widest range of boots from flexible to rigid. However, no crampons will work with light trekking boots, the may look like the fit but when you put them under pressure on the hill the connection with the crampon will not provide the required support. 

C1 Crampons are suitable for:
