The course is run by approved providers and with a ratio of 1 instructor to 6 participants so you are assured of the highest quality tuition.
The course is divided into 3 modules:
Most people will just do MS 1 and MS 2 where you’ll learn all the skills you’ll need. MS Assessment is completed by those who are looking to progress to Mountain Leader training courses and those who like to have a goal to aim for.
Mountain Skills is not a leadership qualification, you’ll need to progress to Mountain Leader level for that. Instead, it equips you with the skills to look after yourself in the mountains.
